#Do it afraid

Sometimes we are  faced with two choices.

To #Do it afraid or Don’t do it at all.

And when I say afraid, I mean the paralysing jump down a cliff blind-folded kind of fear. The kind that leaves you shaking and trembling at the enornimity of what you are considering doing or what God is laying it into your heart to do.

Most times we choose the second option just because we are too scared. Other times we wait for reassurance or for some form of validation that we will not get burned if we do it afraid.

The thing with not doing it at all is that one never get fulfilled and there is always that tinge of regret. You see others who did it afraid, how happy they are irrespective of whether they failed or not and you wish you had their guts.

Now imagine if Barack Obama had not contested for the Presidency of the United States out of fear.

Imagine, the first time he dared to dream it, to think that he could one day lead the most powerful country in the world. He, a black man , of a race that had once been slaves in that same country.

Imagine if he had not conquered that fear of failure, that fear of been mocked and laughed at for daring to dream that he could one day be President.

You too can #do it afraid.

I don’t know that thing that you feel led to do deep down in your spirit but that has got you so scared. Change of career? Resigning your job to take up baking? Lol…Relationship change? Lifestyle change? Following your passion? Contesting for a position? Full time Ministry?

I don’t know what’s got you scared of even trying but I am here to tell you that the only way to do it is to do it # do it Afraid.

Sometimes God is waiting for you to trust him, and for you to believe that he has the best plan for you. Do not be scared.

Lets #do it Afraid together.

Believe it or not, this blog is from a # do it afraid place.

Don’t forget to share and to comment.

A post shared is like a bottle thrown inside the ocean. It can end up anywhere. Lol. So be nice ,caring, adventurous and share.

Bisola, please don’t ever stop writing this blog. I stumbled upon your blog at a point in my life where I’m strengthening my relationship with God, asking him to lead me into my ordained purpose and considering career options that terrify me. Reading your blog has brought a gentle reassurance to my life and has served as a guide. Thank you for what you do. I may never meet you in real life but just know that you have made an impact in my life. May God bless you and may He continuously lead you to be a shining light for others.

Awww! E! Thanks a lot for this. I really appreciate your comment. It’s all God’s doing. I can’t claim to be so knowledgable or impactful. It’s the Holy Spirit that does this things. I myself have been blessed by other people’s words or writings.
I am so glad that you have been so impacted. Nothing gladdens my heart more than to know that someone somewhere is benefiting from what God has deposited in me.
Amen and you too. Here’s to you walking in purpose, God ordained purpose, realizing who you are in Christ Jesus, and that all you need for that has been deposited inside of you. You just need to realize what it is. And It all becomes easy from there.
I look forward to another year of learning, understanding and deepening our relationship with God, of us recovering back our destiny keys, of towing destinies path, I want other people to know God like I do, to understand him like I do and even more than I do.
